Buyeo County (
Buyeo-gun) is a
county in
South Chungcheong Province,
South Korea. Buyeo—the county's capital—was the capital of the kingdom of
Baekje from AD 538 to 660, when it was called
Sabi. For the ancient kingdom of the same name in
Manchuria, see
Buyeo (Fuyu).
